I took this photograph when driving back from Wanaka to Arrowtown in New Zealand. Freeways in New Zealand are very scenic. And it gets even better during sunset. As soon as I saw this scene, I pulled my car over on the side of the freeway and immediately grab my camera out. I waited until the sun was just about to set behind the mountain and took this shot. The backlight caused by the setting sun creates a feeling of tranquility and wonder on this scene.
